1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tartralbit Car Rentals website and car rental services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Tartralbit Car Rentals ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use our Services.

2. Rental Requirements

2.1 Driver Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Tartralbit Car Rentals, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been held for at least one year
• For non-Singaporean residents, hold a valid International Driving Permit along with your country's driver's license
• Meet our credit requirements and provide a valid credit card in your name for the security deposit

2.2 Documentation Required

At the time of rental, you must present:

• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport or Singapore ID card
• Valid credit card in the renter's name
• Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement) issued within the last 3 months

3. Reservation and Cancellation

3.1 Reservation

Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our rental location. A valid credit card is required to secure a reservation.

3.2 Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled pick-up time: Full refund
• Cancellations made between 24-72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time or no-shows: No refund

4. Vehicle Rental Terms

4.1 Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pick-up and ends at the time of vehicle drop-off. The minimum rental period is 24 hours.

4.2 Late Returns

Late returns will be charged at our hourly rate for up to 3 hours past the scheduled return time. Returns more than 3 hours late will be charged for an additional day.

4.3 Security Deposit

A security deposit will be required at the time of rental. The amount varies depending on the vehicle category. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, subject to any applicable charges for damage, fuel, late return, etc.

4.4 Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a refueling charge will apply.

5. Vehicle Use Restrictions

You agree to the following vehicle use restrictions:

• The vehicle will only be driven by the authorized driver(s) listed on the rental agreement
• The vehicle will not be used for any illegal purposes
• The vehicle will not be used to transport hazardous materials
• The vehicle will not be used for commercial purposes unless specifically authorized
• The vehicle will not be driven outside of Singapore
• No smoking is allowed in any of our vehicles

6. Damage and Insurance

6.1 Vehicle Inspection

You are required to inspect the vehicle at the time of pick-up and report any existing damage. You will be responsible for any damage not noted on the inspection report.

6.2 Insurance Coverage

Basic insurance is included in the rental rate, which covers third-party liability. Optional collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection are available for an additional fee.

6.3 Accidents and Theft

In the event of an accident or theft, you must:

• Notify the police immediately
• Contact Tartralbit Car Rentals as soon as possible
• Complete an accident report form
• Not admit fault or liability

7. Website Use

7.1 Account Creation

When you create an account on our website, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account.

7.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using our website for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Attempting to bypass any security features of our website
• Using our website to transmit viruses, malware, or other types of malicious code
• Interfering with the proper working of our website

8. Intellectual Property

The Tartralbit Car Rentals name, logo, website, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Tartralbit Car Rentals or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tartralbit Car Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
